Where To Find Borneo Food in Peninsular Malaysia?

A playwright Oscar Wilde from A Woman of No Importance once quoted “After a good dinner one can forgive anybody, even one's own relations.”

While for George Bernard Shaw the drama writer from Man and Superman quoted “There is no love sincerer than the love of food.”

We believe that a traditional food is very near to the heart of the people who are far from home.

As for the Sabahan and Sarawakian, a traditional cuisine is in our must eat list when we go back to our home town.

We will definitely must have these traditional meals that is more often remind us with our childhood or the memories of us growing up.

It is a privilege to go back as frequently as possible to home town and enjoy the local food with family.

However, some people might not be able to do so as they have to work, burden with the flight cost, time constraint or many other reasons.

While for others who are not from there, they might want to try the unique Borneo cuisine that their friends and family always talked about.

Some even plan to travel there, tasting new foods, learning all the awesome, unique and intriguing culture they have not experience yet ,but, after all that has been planned out, or thought out, life might gets in the way.

Worst still, plan have to be canceled and it takes some time to come out with a new travel plan.

And here is where our services come in handy.😊

Ruai Rico was originally founded with the main goals to provide traditional Borneo food for Borneo people who are away, far from home, working mainly in Peninsular Malaysia and even abroad.

This means, while you work and stay far from your family missing the delicious traditional food, we are here to serve you.

However, throughout the years, we've figured out that even the locals here miss and love to try and taste unique traditional Borneo food, yet they don't have a chance to do so.

Even if they had been there, not all food was available to be tasted, some foods such as the exotic Borneo fruit known locally as Dabai (also called Sarawak Olive) are only available "seasonally".

This is where we started to grow and progress in our services. Now, our food products and services are for all Malaysian and everyone to try and taste.
